Federal law guarantees your right to vote.
If your name doesn't appear on the voter registration list, or if there's a question about your eligibility, you have the right to cast a provisional ballot. Your vote will be counted once your registration is verified.

You have the right to receive help from a person of your choice, except your employer or union representative. Poll workers must also provide assistance if you need help reading the ballot or operating voting equipment.
Right to Vote Free from Intimidation
No one can threaten, intimidate, or attempt to influence how you vote. Voter intimidation is illegal under federal law. You have the right to vote in a safe environment free from harassment.
If you're in line when the polls close, you have the right to stay in line and cast your vote. Poll workers cannot turn you away if you arrived before closing time.
